The Temple Of Z

FMSE (Fleet Mission Script Editor) Page

The FMSE is a product of the Eagle Eye SG. The Editor allows you to build some pretty nice missions for single and multi player SFC2.

I will no longer be accepting new missions from others to post. I am getting crunched for time and I'd rather spend that time making new missions. So I will only be posting my own missions here from now on. Good places to visit to find new FMSE missions from all authors are the SFC Command Briefing and the Klingon Intelligence Briefing websites.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: My website host Fortunecity.com has some funny checks on their servers; for instance if you copy the zip file link URL and paste it in the Address bar, Fortunecity will block the download from there. You can only download by clicking directly on the link on this page.

Mission Downloads (newest missions are at the top of the list)
All files are approximately 215KB, and include the scenario, the FMSE souce code for the mission, and a readme unless otherwise noted. Note, these missions have all been made or revised using the V1.03.02 or better version of the FMSE and therefore should no longer cause any conflicts with campaign missions.

When selecting these missions through the Skirmish interface in SFC2, the "Customize" option can be used to change the era in which the mission takes place. This will effect the speed of drones (missiles) within the scenario. Also the difficulty level can be adjusted. For clarification, all my FMSE missions, once installed, are accessed through the Single Player Skirmish interface. Missions show up in the skirmish listing appropriate to the Empire of the mission to be played. The except is the Orions, who do not have their own Empire SP skirmish menu. I have enabled their missions to be accessed from any of the other skirmish menus.

Pirates! Bones Collector {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Orion Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "I have a delicate mission for you. The Federation Hospital Ship Deforest Kelly is currently in the Antares system. On board is a patient we are most interested in interviewing. The identify of that person is unimportant, to you at least. Fetch him and bring him and the ship back to us."

High Tech Heist {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. ICS Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "Captain, the Council of Five has directed me to give you this special assignment. Our intelligence service has identified a new Mirak frigate that is carrying the latest in Aegis technology. You are to capture this ship and bring it back the base. There will no doubt be escorts; deal with them as you see fit. ."

Pirates! Assassin {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Orion Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "Captain, we have a special assignment for you. The Romulans are sending some ships to capture one of our planetary bases. The flagship of their squadron is a SparrowHawk-G Commando Cruiser, carrying some of their empire's finest troops. That ship must not reach our outpost. The fate of the escorts is immaterial." Note: Since there is no specific Orion player in SFC2, this mission is playable through any of the Star Empire skirmish screens. However, since your ship has a cloak, either the Klingon or Romulan interface screen might be more useful.

Bring Back My Ship! {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Klingon Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "It's not every day that a Klingon Captain can say that he secretly captured a Lyran DD right from under the noses of the enemy! Trouble is, the local constabulary have found out, and they are hunting for you. You cannot let them survive and tell their admirals that the Klingon Empire has access to the latest Lyran technology! "

Q-Ball {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Federation Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "As the captain of a Q-ship, your normal assignment is to mix in with the other ships of a convoy. Sometimes, however, things happen when you least expect them."

Pirates! Turnabout {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Orion Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "Captain, you and your little fleet have been given a simple assignment. Our scouts have spotted an ISC convoy nearby. Capture them all, if you can."

Pirates! Port Royal {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Orion Single Player Skirmish Mission. From the mission briefing: "Captain, the Orion General Council has tasked you with an important mission. The Federation Science Station Port Royal has been spotting in an asteroid field nearby. While their primary goal may be science, we think they may have gathered vital intelligence regarding our operations. Capture the Port Royal and destroy any escorts she may have present."

Cat Fight {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Klingon Single Player Skirmish Mission. "Commanding a Klingon Battlecruiser, you are returning to a friendly star base when your sensors detect several small objects. Prepare for battle, Commander. You have just stumbled across a squadron of Lyran Pseudo Fighters.

First Do No Harm {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Federation Single Player Skirmish Mission. "As the Captain of a hospital ship, you know there are situations where you will be called upon to fight to defend your crew and patients. Yet as a doctor, the taking of life, even alien life, is contrary to the very core of your beliefs. The time has come for you to make a decision. Your ship is all that stands betweem a pirate and Arnak V, a friendly civilization the Federation has promised to defend. Choose wisely, Captain. "

Get The Galaxy President! {FMSE version 1.03.03} by JZ Temple. Federation Single Player Skirmish Mission. An example of what is possible with the FMSE. It's not very polished, but it works and give us an opportunity to look at the SFC2 Presidential Liner!!
